On May 4th, Jos Diepeveen and Timo Valk traveled from The Netherlands to the United States to participate in the 2019 KanJam Klassic major tournament. Jos and Timo were the 2018 KanJam European Champions under the team name, Rembrandt Masters, and wanted to compete with some of the best teams in the game.
The 2019 KanJam Klassic was a tough tournament. Being held indoors, there were no outside elements to contend with, making the competition that much tougher. Jos & Timo finished as the #7 seed with a 10-7 record to make the playoffs, in a division composed of two World Champion teams. In the playoffs, Jos & Timo defeated PHILorkus three games to none, a team that previously won the Klassic. This series included an Instant Win by Timo. In the second round, they matched up with the #2 seed, Matteson Brothers, who knocked them out four games to none. Rembrandt Masters finished in 14th place overall with a record of 13-11. Thank you Jos & Timo for representing Europe in the KanJam Klassic!
